Procedures for Working with InnovAid

The policies and procedures outlined below provide new clients with an overview of the typical steps InnovAid takes on each new inquiry submitted to us. We encourage you to review this page before submitting an inquiry.

An Important Note on Confidentiality

InnovAid Engineering respects the privacy of our clients and prospective clients, alike. As a professional service firm, we maintain the highest level of confidentiality concerning any contact we have with you or service we provide. This includes information shared with us about business or marketing plans, personnel or financial issues. However, since the basis of our business is engineering or scientific intellectual property, we have established special policies pertaining to that subject matter. Some of these policies are described in the following procedures.

  1. Client submits project inquiry to InnovAid. This can be by any avenue preferred by the client including mail, fax, telephone, e-mail or our automated project inquiry submittal form. You must indicate what kind of financial program you are interested in utilizing. Do not send confidential technical information or trade secrets at this time. Submit only enough information to describe the general nature of your technology, its application and the type of service you require. Technical information submitted to InnovAid cannot be considered confidential until a suitable non-disclosure agreement has been executed with a client.
  2. InnovAid evaluates inquiry and responds. We will determine how we are best able to meet your needs. If necessary, we will contact you for any additional details required to prepare an estimate of our fees. Or we may refer you to one of our associates.
  3. InnovAid prepares quotation for Client. This quotation is provided free of charge and without obligation to the client.
  4. Client authorizes InnovAid to start work. This can take one of three different forms.
    1. Accept terms of quotation/proposal. For the majority of the work we perform, the client can simply sign the appropriate acceptance & authorization to proceed contained in the proposal or quotation. Our proposals include standard terms and conditions that cover the services we offer.
    2. Issue a purchase order to InnovAid. If your organization utilizes purchase orders, you can issue us a P.O. for our services. The P.O. must reference our proposal or quotation and our terms & conditions.
    3. Execute a contract. For more involved projects and financial programs, it may be appropriate to utilize a detailed contract to cover the terms and conditions of our agreement. For instance, specific royalty or ownership terms may need to be negotiated before work can proceed.
  5. If required, Client remits retainer or deposit to InnovAid. Work will begin once this payment is received from applicable customers.
  6. InnovAid and Client execute non-disclosure agreement. This can be omitted if there is a valid agreement already in place or if both parties agree that it is not necessary for the work being performed.
  7. InnovAid begins work on Client project.
