This service is a special form of engineering consulting. The unique features are that the service is typically provided over a longer term and the problem(s) to solve or question(s) to answer may not be known up front. In essence, it involves performing a functional role for a client that would typically be handled by an employee. InnovAid does not provide this service for all engineering functions or disciplines, only those within the scope of our expertise. Good examples are:

• Providing regular or periodic application engineering assistance to a start-up venture (e.g. sizing/selection, preliminary design, or proposal preparation); and
• Acting as a client's project or program manager, coordinating 3rd party technical efforts on special projects or development programs.
